Our funding schemes aim to support the production and preservation of culturally valuable broadcast content and to enhance the provision of high-quality, diverse, and innovative news and comment on current affairs. We fund media service providers, independent producers, and cultural organisations to deliver projects on behalf of audiences.

Learning & development
It is part of Coimisiún na Meán’s remit to encourage and support learning and development in Ireland’s audio and audiovisual sector.
Sponsorship
We understand the importance of recognising and promoting the range of talent and creativity across Ireland’s media sector. Each year, we sponsor a range of media related events and activities that increases the prominence and visibility of culturally relevant content for Irish audiences.
